Terms of Service

This is a general agreement (”Agreement”) between the commissioner (”Client”) and Knilly (”Artist”).

By commissioning the Artist, the Client agrees to the following:

  1. You understand that your commission may not be accepted for any reason, and the Artist reserves the right to remove you from the queue. If the Artist cancels the work and money has already been exchanged, the Artist will offer a refund.
  2. Payment and communication are done through Ko-Fi.com/HeyKnilly.
    1. Payment is transacted via the appropriate listing on Ko-Fi.
    2. If additional fees are accrued by the Client, the Artist will ask for payment via the Ko-Fi platform.
  3. The commissioned piece (the “Work”) will be delivered within 2-4 weeks after the time of payment.
    1. The Client is allowed one round of minor changes.
    2. Additional changes can result in additional fees.
    3. The Work will be delivered at high quality (roughly US Letter-sized 8.5x11 in., 300 DPI).
    4. The Work will only be delivered to the Client upon full agreed upon payment.
    5. The Artist may ask the Client for an extension should extenuating circumstances occur.
  4. The Client is free to use the Work for personal use.
    1. GENERATIVE AI MODEL TRAINING/MANIPULATION IS EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN ON THE WORK.
    2. Additional commercial use and terms must be negotiated with the Artist before the Work is started.
  5. The Artist can freely use the Work for promotional purposes.
    1. The Artist will watermark commissions and note the work are commissions when posted on websites (such as social media platforms) for promotional purposes.
    2. The Artist will not re-sell the work unless given explicit permission by the Client.
